You can fill out the form here on our website. If you meet the qualifications to become a Realizing DPP member in Mississippi, or if you are already CDC certified as a DPP Lifestyle Coach in Mississippi, we will send you an invitation via email to join the Realizing DPP Community!
It depends on how quickly you can get your Realizing DPP certifications completed. The National DPP foundational training can take anywhere from 2 days to 5 weeks, depending on the course.
Realizing DPP typically pays a Lifestyle Coach every two weeks for the hard work they are doing with their cohorts. Realizing DPP allows you to earn a steady income while expanding your potential as an independent contractor!
On average 2 to 4 hours per week per individual cohort. If you decide to take on multiple cohorts, you can increase the hours you work per week!
Depending on the delivery modality, cohorts are about 15-25 participants.

The most important thing you can do to become a Lifestyle Coach is to get your CDC-approved Foundational DPP training. Then, we will help you acquire your HIPAA compliance certification, Fraud, Waste & Abuse certification and General Compliance Training certification, and you’re set to begin.
After that, you will need two units of CE (Continuing Education) to maintain your CDC-approved Foundational DPP training every year. And we make that simple by offering CE credits through the Realizing DPP Community!
We will be offering CDC-approved DPP Foundational training through ADCES (Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists) later this summer, and again in the fall. Check out the Realizing DPP Community for dates and huge savings on these courses.
Otherwise, there are other organizations you can work with to obtain your CDC foundational training independently, but understand that outside organizational costs are your responsibility. You can find a full list of DPP training providers here.
